Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG)

AIPEG is an AusAID-funded project assisting Indonesia to undertake economic and financial policy reforms. Norton Rose Australia, the Managing Contractor, seeks applications from qualified Human Resource Management/Organisational Development (HR/OD) professional for two short-term assignments in Jakarta, Indonesia (September-November 2011 and January-March 2012 – Two full-time inputs of 90 days in total)

The successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate:
o A degree in HRM or a related field;
o A minimum of 10 years HR/OD experience in the public and/or private sector;
o Experience in strategic HR/OD activities, ideally in developing countries;
o An ability to guide counterparts to manage organisational change;
o A sound knowledge of contemporary HR/OD practices; and
o English language skills (fluent).

Experience working with Indonesian government organisations and Bahasa Indonesia language skills (basic or above) will be an advantage.

1. Briefly outline your expertise in the HR/OD area including:
o where and how you developed this expertise,
o your working experience in general,
o your international working experience, and
o your prior experience as a Adviser.

2. Explain how you would approach implementing a:
o strategic review of an HR organizational structure, and
o HR capability review?
